World Class Fitness in 100 Words

  • Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar. Keep intake to levels that will support exercise but not body fat. Practice and train major lifts: Deadlift, clean, squat, presses, C&J, and snatch. Similarly, master the basics of gymnastics: pull-ups, dips, rope climb, push-ups, sit-ups, presses to handstand, pirouettes, flips, splits, and holds. Bike, run, swim, row, etc, hard and fast. Five or six days per week mix these elements in as many combinations and patterns as creativity will allow. Routine is the enemy. Keep workouts short and intense. Regularly learn and play new sports. courtesy of www.crossfit.com

16:?? Rest in a WOD...more like prolong the pain. This was a good one. My heart still feels like its going to come out of my chest. Good to see you back Evan

Worked out with team 6am aka "team no girls allowed".

Did 8 rounds in 21:07

In all honesty, I probably take that much rest time or more in any given WOD anyways.

Adam

One more thing.

I just wanted to remind everyone that the sheet is still there for you to put your email address on if you want me to send you some information about the Operation Red Nose designated driving program that will operate next month.

I'm going to leave it a couple extra days, and pick it up on Tuesday evening, that way if people are out of town, they still have a chance to put their name down.

Have a GREAT day!

Adam

Also,

Thanks for the kind words yesterday. Kyle, I actually wore a toque and was a burglar. But based on Glen's video, Dieter would have worked just as well.

I wanted to make it in today for the last day of the start of the challenge. I'm not going to make it so can someone please scratch my name off the DU challenge.
Thanks

Unable to make it in today, AGAIN! Did my DU's for the challenge in my garage this morning and got a whopping 26 completed plus many failed attempts. I've got some work to do if I am going to be competitive in the challenge, I can't seem to link them and then I spin the rope faster and that only makes things worse. Once I am frustrated, it's game over. Can someone please post my DU's for me?

Thanks and have a great weekend everyone.

TOUGH WOD but I loved it. Gave me a Phlegmy throat...
Unfortunately I was unable to finish bc I had to get back to work (all smelly and sweaty- haha) but I feel great after doing it. Did not expect it to be that tough. The lunges killed!!! Props to RDR and KJ :-)
Thanks for the encouragement Chad and Allan!
