Happy Birthday Mel!
Want to wish Tracey, Trudi and Leslee all the best in their pursuits of becoming "Iron Men"? hmmmm... hahaha.. No but really best of luck to you guys in all your races this competitive season, it was fun coaching and training with you these past few months and be sure to check back in the near future and let us know how much you guys improved or how different your comps went/felt thanks to the extra strength/conditioning you've acquired! Regardless we'll see you again in the summer/fall!
Take Care Ladies!

Happy Birthday Mel!
Just wanted to say thanks to everyone for your comments about the level one cert, Jesse and myself took part in over the weekend! I know we both had a great time, and was awesome to meet some of these amazing crossfit athletes! I know for myself I definitely came home with a few little things to work on, so I plan on working on those things coming into the open. But after two years of crossfit and being trained by our coaches, there really wasnt much that I needed to change. So all I can say is that we are very fortunate to have such an awesome group of coaches at CFLA!
Had an early morning workout today with the 6am'ers was good to see everyone there working hard!

A big thank you to all of the people at Crossfit who have taken us "Ironmen/women" in and introduced us to a new way of training. There are lots of tidbits of information we will be taking with us so hopefully we'll see the fruits of our labors in the upcoming race season. Dawn - We will miss you, you are one sexy crossfit cougar. I look forward to seeing you do 10 strict pullups in a row next fall. And be nice to Patrick, you're all he's got now! Patrick - Best of luck in your studies and in your training, looking forward to seeing you compete in future Crossfit games (I'm sure you'll kick ass). Don't let Dawn push you around okay? Kris - we will try our best to keep in touch and let you know how our race season is going, and I'll try really hard not to make baby Jesus cry. We enjoyed being your test subjects for cash out, I just wish I could remember more of them so I can repeat them through the spring and summer months. And thanks for the maneaters this morning, they were yummy. See you at the moonlight run, best of luck to all of you!

Happy Birthday Mel!
This wod has one work to describe it: irritating. The shoulders never get a break and it just feels kinda icky doing manmakers, oh well it's a great test and a fun wod to do with a bunch of people!
Time - 9:02? or something. Used the 50# dumbbells, which may have been part of the problem.
nice work everyone!

Thanks Mel and happy birthday (again)

Sore from yesterday, wasn't feeling the manmakers today...plus they suck and I've forced myself to do one horrendous WOD this week already!! Nice job to everyone that tackled the manmakers today! Congrats Terryl & Kim on the new addition! Happy b-day Mel!

Happy bday again Mel!
Did doubles of snatch and snatch pull,
Then clean + fs+fs.
Chinups and ring dips.
Cash out at home.
Great to get back in the gym, rough weekend at work tuckered me right out.
Lifts felt good, I think there really coming along!
