Everyday I win.
No need for a medal to justify my victory.
Yesterday I feared, and today I have courage.
My past had me weak, but my growth is strong.
I use to seek happiness, and now I own Happy.
This glow that radiates is simply because I
have accepted that winning is growing, and growing
is sometimes losing but always gaining experience.
When you accept betterment as your measure, you
will WIN everyday. One step at time. Victorious journey.
Betterment TRUMPS Perfection every time ( taken from RXstar)
WOD
A) snatch grip deadlift- 5 sets of 3

Good workout today. Tough 3 days of training so day off tomorrow and some yoga. Worked up to 5 sets of 3 reps at #245 for the snatch grip deadlifts. Used #135 for the WOD. Was a good weight, DU were unbroken.
Have a good day!

Kurtis
Did a Barbell Complex with David and Ryno today:
5 Deadlifts
5 Hang Cleans
5 Front Squats
5 Jerks
Then rest...then 4 of each...then 3...etc. Did them all at 135# except for the last round I did 145#. You're not supposed to put down or let go of the bar but I did on the jerks except for the last 2 rounds. This was a hard WOD!
Then David had the brilliant idea of rowing a 500m time trial... It was my second time doing it so finished at 1:39. This was a new PR by 10 seconds. Great job to David, Terryl and Ryno for also doing the row and thanks to all the observers who were cheering us on! I am going to suggest we get seat belts for the rowers because I fell off my seat in the first 100m haha!
Rest day tomorrow!

Wod - I was able to do about 6 or 7 of the rounds unbroken. kept the weight at 95lbs.
Joined Ryno, David and Kurtis for a 500m row. David won the race, but Kurtis, Ryno and I won the battle. David was praying to the porcelain gods and looked like he might die. Nice work everyone, it was a close one.
1 second under my PR with a time of 1:30.2.
Great job 11am
